We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging products based on customer orders. A keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are crucial. This position offers a great opportunity to work within the fast-paced logistics sector. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE .
- Assist with packing and shipping duties as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the distribution center's logistics operations.
- Ensure all tasks are performed with a focus on accuracy and safety .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and using required PPE .
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
