We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Durham, North Carolina. This position plays a key role in our daily warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient management of inventory from receipt to shipment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. A commitment to safety , accuracy, and teamwork is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming merchandise, maintaining an organized system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision and care.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts as directed.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or shipments.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of the warehouse and logistics processes.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all established safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and properly using PPE .
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
