We are hiring Order Pickers for our busy distribution center in Indianapolis, Indiana! You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using RF scanners to track inventory, and ensuring products are prepared for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow warehouse layout procedures.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Meet or exceed established productivity standards for order picking.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics operations.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
- Ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively with others.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
