We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This position is crucial for managing the flow of goods through our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock accurately and efficiently.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper handling and presentation.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including cycle counts.
- Keep a clean, orderly, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all safety rules.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and perform various warehouse duties.
