Join our leading Logistics company as a Warehouse Coordinator in Washington, D.C. This critical role oversees the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. You will manage inventory, coordinate staff, and optimize workflow processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management and a strong understanding of supply chain principles. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations and procedures. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Supervise warehouse staff and delegate tasks.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce Safety protocols and procedures.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations and Safety guidelines.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all staff.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated experience with Inventory control and management.
- Proficiency in Safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting tasks.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to maintaining a secure and organized facility.
