Our San Antonio, Texas facility is looking for a motivated Order Picker to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, responsible for selecting the correct items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from storage locations based on customer orders.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Stage orders in designated areas for processing.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the picking zones.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Report any stock discrepancies or safety concerns.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational goals.
Requirements:
- Experience in order picking or warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
- Must be punctual and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
