Join our efficient warehouse operations in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Picker/Packer! This role is essential for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and quickly. You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse and preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Assist with inventory management as needed, including stock checks.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, typically up to 35 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
