Full-time, in-person position
Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, has an opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual to lead our team as General Manager. This is a role for someone with a management and customer service background who understands how to train and manage others to provide top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Management
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for our dogs.
- Lead, mentor, manage and develop a team of 15+ employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous learning
- Lead hiring efforts to maintain optimum level of staffing
- Onboard all new hires and ensure appropriate training is administered
- Create and monitor daily staff schedules
- Deliver written performance and provide appropriate feedback/acknowledgement to employees
- Coach the staff on Dogtopia practices and standards
- Utilize training opportunities for the team such as dog injuries, billing issues, or customer complaints
Customer Service & Presentation
- Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving pet parent concerns promptly and professionally
- Develop sales-oriented, friendly culture through rapport building
- Keep the team members engaged in their duties
- Strive for high customer review ratings – develop genuine relationships with pets and their parents
- Hold team accountable to internal and external customer service standards
- Maintain a neat and organized store
- Supervise social media, email marketing, community, existing customer outreach via Sales Manager
Financial and Administrative
- Maintain controllable expenses within budgetary constraints, including forecasting, tracking, and ordering supplies, minimizing payroll, and actively looking for new ways to maximize efficiency.
- Manage inventory of cleaning, dog, and first aid supplies
- Develop team in up-selling and using dog evaluations to grow revenue
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
