Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

  • Minimum
    5+ years of experience
    designing and supporting
    AWS infrastructure
    for enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience in defining
    right-fit application architectures
    using the
    AWS Well-Architected Framework
    .
  • Strong experience with
    stateful and stateless application design
    .
  • Hands-on expertise in
    designing, provisioning, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, scaling, and upgrades
    .
  • Extensive experience with
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    and automation using
    Terraform and Ansible
    .
  • Strong CI/CD knowledge using
    GitHub Actions and Jenkins
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    AWS security best practices
    , governance, and application compliance requirements.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to define
    best practices and standardized processes
    across the full infrastructure lifecycle:
    Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate
    .
  • Ability to design and implement
    self-service provisioning, orchestration, and configuration management
    solutions.
  • Experience defining
    technology roadmaps
    and long-term infrastructure strategy.
  • Strong ability to learn and work with a wide range of
    open-source technologies and tools
    .

Required Certification

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
    (Associate or Professional)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Strong understanding of
    on-premises infrastructure
    including networking, storage, compute, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience working with
    hybrid infrastructure architectures
    (on-prem + cloud).

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and support
    hybrid infrastructure architectures
    , spanning on-premises and AWS environments.
  • Define and implement
    right-fit AWS architectures
    aligned with organizational standards and industry best practices.
  • Design and provision AWS infrastructure as part of
    on-prem to cloud migration initiatives
    .
  • Implement and manage
    capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, and automation
    using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure
    security, compliance, and governance
    of AWS environments.
  • Partner with engineering teams to establish
    best practices and reusable frameworks
    across the infrastructure lifecycle.
  • Drive
    automation, standardization, and continuous improvement
    of infrastructure processes and methodologies.
  • Define and influence
    technology roadmaps
    and future-state infrastructure direction.
  • Assess the
    feasibility, complexity, and scope
    of new infrastructure capabilities and solutions.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including
    architecture, engineering, and infrastructure delivery teams
    to ensure consistent solution design and integration.
  • Participate in
    architecture consulting engagements
    and support proactive proposal development to grow the business.
