Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering friendly assistance and guiding them to their tables with enthusiasm.
• Manage reservation lists and coordinate seating to optimize flow during busy hours.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and clearing tables efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand, dining areas, and service stations to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Use OpenTable to seat guest and stay organized
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism, providing information about menu items and restaurant policies.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or host in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant procedures enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Experience using POS systems like Toast and OpenTable
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous, especially in guest services or guest relations roles.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude during busy shifts.
