Position Summary
The Post Sales Project Manager position is responsible for all activities after an order is received through final delivery for designated responsible truck projects or orders. Is assigned a product-line to actively manage product offerings, innovation opportunities, product marketing materials, and other duties. This position is in constant communication with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure the build is correct and on schedule.

Essential Functions
All employees are required to support Rosenbauer's Mission, Vision, and Values.
The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

  • Actively leads and monitors production specification status (chassis and body) and proactively communicates with dealer/customer for Rosenbauer body plants on assigned projects.
  • Completes assigned truck projects or orders timely by order gates and operational deadlines.
  • Actively manages and maintains assigned product-line optionality in QuoteWriter, offerings, starter truck configurations, product marketing materials (website, a-folders, and other documents), innovation opportunities, and other duties.
  • May conduct concierge service on truck projects as determined by manager.
  • Actively manages question queue to ensure proper actions are taken to address questions by dealers, customers, operations, or other stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Defines, leads, and manages concierge services for post sales. Includes completing QuoteWriter files, change orders, and customer pre-construction, mid-point, and final inspection meetings in place of a dealer.
  • Creates training materials and trains new department hires.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

Knowledge, Education, And/or Experience

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2-year degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing or related relevant experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of firetrucks is preferred.
  • Proficient in data analytics to better enable target sales required.
  • Able to recognize the importance and adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe working environment, for everyone at the organization required.
  • Ability to learn on the job and adapt to challenges required.

Language:

  • Ability to perform intermediate PC functions including spreadsheet formulas and functions, queries, tables, merges, and special reports.
  • Will perform some troubleshooting.
