Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/File Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations, providing excellent customer service, and managing administrative tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong telephone skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Handle data entry, filing, and document management with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain appointment calendars and schedule meetings and appointments
- Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, ensuring excellent service standards
- Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution
- Assist with administrative duties such as copying, scanning, and organizing paper files
- Manage office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills are require
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy; familiarity with proofreading is beneficial
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Previous office management or administrative experience highly desirable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
