Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role plays a critical part in helping patients regain movement and manage pain, ultimately improving their quality of life.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating and treating patients under their care

2. Perform therapeutic exercises and activities with patients

3. Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist

4. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and tools for at-home care

5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience working with patients with physical disabilities or injuries is preferred
