Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed trailer for a Hot Shot truck. This role involves delivering freight across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates should have a strong background in commercial driving and delivery operations, with experience handling different types of freight and equipment.

Duties

• Safely operate trucks with manual transmissions.
• Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning deliveries and maintaining schedules.
• Handle freight securely during transit to prevent damage or loss.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling.
• Familiarity with operating various truck types such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Experience with route driving and load & unload operations.
• Knowledge of manual transmission operation is preferred.
• Prior experience with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to drive safely over long distances while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety standards. Candidates should possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) suitable for the truck types they will operate. A clean driving record and experience with freight transportation are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $1, $1,500.00 per week
