Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist at Sandstone, you will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help residents regain functional abilities and independence in their daily lives. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess residents' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to identify areas of need.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on improving daily living and occupational skills.
• Utilize RehabOptima to document assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on techniques to maximize independence.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.

Qualifications:

• Education:

• • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Certification:

• • Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Occupational Therapists.

• Licensure and Certifications:

• • Current state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
