Welcome to INNIO Work Structure: The Salesforce Application Engineer will be based onsite at our Houston, TX office with flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity.  Occasional travel to data centers or branch offices as needed in the US, Canada and/or Mexico. Position Overview:  We are looking for a Salesforce Application Engineer to drive the design, configuration, and support of our Salesforce platform. This role combines solution architecture with hands-on system configuration and user support. The ideal candidate is both strategic and technical, able to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions while ensuring the platform is running smoothly for all users. Position Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business processes and gather requirements to design scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with stakeholders and external partners.
  • Configure and optimize Salesforce, including reports, dashboards, and system setups.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to support user adoption.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Oversee support issues, monitor system performance, and ensure data integrity.
  Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of functional Salesforce consulting experience.
  • Experience in software architecture and technical design in CRM systems.
  • Exposure to Apex, SOQL, and integration concepts (REST, SOAP).
  • Salesforce certifications are highly appreciated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
