Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Plumber to respond swiftly to urgent plumbing issues across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving plumbing emergencies efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients. This role requires quick thinking, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills to handle unexpected plumbing crises effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
• Diagnose plumbing problems accurately using specialized tools and techniques.
• Perform repairs or replacements of faulty pipes, fixtures, and appliances under tight time constraints.
• Ensure all emergency work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding the nature of the issue and the necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after service calls.
• Keep detailed records of work performed for each emergency situation.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial plumbing, with a focus on emergency repairs.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues quickly and accurately.
• Have a good personality to be able to secure sales.
• Be clean cut and look professional.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability under pressure.
• Good communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed for emergencies.
• Leak Detection: Test systems to locate and repair leaks.
• Site Maintenance: Keep your workspace organized and follow strict safety protocols
• Minimum of 5 years experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing, bending, climbing, sitting, small crawl spaces and heights
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
• Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
• Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
• Work in high or elevated places and/or in tight spaces
• Ability to withstand hot and cold indoor and outdoor temperatures

Pay: $ $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
