Since 1990,The Summit Counseling Center (The Summit)has been a trusted community partner; bringing hope, healing, and restoration to children, teens, adults, couples, and families. The Summit provides professional counseling, psychological services, school-based mental health, and community education services utilizing an integrated approach to care for individuals and families – Body, Mind, Spirit, and Relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
The Development Coordinator will support the Director of Development with activities related to each of the key Summit campaigns below.
This role is not virtually based and will operate onsite Monday through Friday at the Summit's administrative office located in Johns Creek.
- Summit Golf Classic
- Summit Gala
- Supporting 3rd party events benefitting The Summit
- Assisting with any newly created Summit fundraising events
- Donor appreciation events
- Manage the donor CRM database
Responsibilities
- Assist the DOD in the planning and execution of small, medium, and large-scale fundraising events.
- Solicit, coordinate, and support volunteers throughout the event process.
- Lead and manage the silent auction for each Summit event to include asks for donations, auction database management, securing volunteers to create auction basket packaging and beyond.
- Manage event set up, tear down and follow-ups.
- Track and maintain clean, updated, and accessible data for presenters, speakers, and attendees.
- Manage the creation of innovative fundraising streams during the current event(s) offseason (giveback events, restaurant nights, Giving Tuesday etc.)
- Manage the CRM database (Currently Blackbaud) to include uploading monthly donations, creating quarterly statements to mail and beyond.

Qualifications
- Experience in planning and coordinating small to large scale non-profit fundraising events on a professional basis.
- Highly skilled in the use of various Microsoft platforms in relation to event management.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Capable of working with internal and external teams and partners.
- Capacity to learn and use event-based software (Ex: GiveSmart).
- Experienced in customer service through phone, email, and social media.
- Experience in managing OR capacity to learn CRM software (Ex: Blackbaud).
- Experience in soliciting auction donations for fundraising events.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Experienced in tracking and maintaining budgets.
