Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, efficiently handling food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Experience in high-traffic restaurants is preferred. This role involves serving food and drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring excellent service standards.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage strong time management skills
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Skills

• Responsible and punctual
• Proven experience with POS
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working restaurants
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing tabs accurately
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours including nights and weekends
• Familiarity with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of beverage preparation techniques
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and team members

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $ $24.59 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
