Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules and shift assignments.
- Support food preparation and cooking to ensure menu quality and consistency meet established standards.
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Supervise food safety practices, inventory control, and food management to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Train and develop team members in customer service, food handling, and operational procedures.
- Manage customer relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with a focus on food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and conducting interviews.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to customer service.
