About the Opportunity:

The organization is seeking a Staff Program Manager to join the Engineering business area at the mid-senior level. This role focuses on managing program activities across product development, engineering, quality, UX/Docs, and related teams to deliver high-quality products. The Staff Program Manager will ensure efficient collaboration, drive best practices, and manage product initiatives from intake through release.

Responsibilities:


• Coordinate and drive triage activities for product initiatives with cross-functional teams.


• Work with Product Managers to ensure business case data is completed by stakeholders.


• Manage end-to-end delivery and execution for accepted initiatives, overseeing timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.


• Regularly assess critical paths, review product requirements, and optimize engineering deliverables.


• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and internal teams, escalating risks as needed and proposing mitigation options.


• Oversee engineering product releases via full-cycle program management, ensuring alignment with global release calendars and maintaining accurate release dashboards.


• Ensure all cross-functional teams adhere to established JIRA guidelines and maintain accurate metadata for reporting.


• Proactively identify and manage risks and cross-dependencies.


• Ensure all security, legal, and compliance requirements are met and tracked through closure.

Requirements:


• Bachelor''s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.


• 5+ years of experience in a technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program management role, including software integration and deployment.


• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams delivering products on schedule.


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly update both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary discussions between product and R&D teams.


• Proficiency with at least one schedule tracking tool (Asana, Excel, or JIRA/Confluence).


• Master''s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (preferred).


• Experience working with Marketing and Finance for product launches or familiarity with NPI processes (preferred).


• Ability to effectively engage and influence senior management and stakeholders.


• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.


• High sense of ownership, proactiveness, urgency, and drive.
