3rd Grade Teacher

Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced 3rd-grade teacher to join our team at Daniel Axford Elementary. This is a full-time position that requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and district standards
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and student growth
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective educational program
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related events as required
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification
• Experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably in 3rd grade
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Proficiency in using technology for instruction and record-keeping
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
