Engineer

Overview
As an Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor to ePlus services projects by performing troubleshooting and physical installation work on various server and networking hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

*YOUR IMPACT *
The essential functions of this position include:

• Provide deployment and implementation services of multi -vendor solutions in both a Data Center and a corporate office environment
• Provide on-site technical support for applicable service calls
• Perform advanced hardware configuration of at least one of the following: Servers, routers/switches, and firewall infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and perform remediation repairs; escalate to Sr. Engineers, as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT, engineering
• Work towards achieving manufacturer specific advanced certifications- eg, CCNA, CCNP, etc
• Excellent customer service skills both on phone and in-person
• Professional demeanor and good communication skills
• Ability to think and come up with solutions quickly

• Must be fully knowledgeable and able to diagnose, install and repair one or more of the following technologies:

• Networking (wired and/or wireless)

• Security Solutions
• Compute/Storage
• Virtualization
• Microsoft (i.e. Office 365 Migrations, Exchange Migrations, Azure)

POSITION SPECIFICS
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $26.44 and $43.27 hourly. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary
