Description
SAIC has an opportunity for an ISSO in Washington, DC. It is hybrid and requires onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Description:

Primary manager/analyst and subject matter expert for the build-out, approval, cyber security audit, and continuous monitoring of 200+ network extensions of the Department's classified and unclassified computer systems to external locations outside the Department's sphere of control (e.g. contractor facilities, other-U.S. government agency locations, other-nation government locations, hotels, airports, police stations, etc.). The primary point of contact for coordinating the review and evaluation of multiple stakeholders involved in implementing department network extensions. Stakeholders include sponsoring offices, contracting officers, agreements analysts, network and system design/build-out teams, procurement and asset management teams, physical security specialists, system administrators, Information System Security Officers (ISSO), and cyber/network security audit teams.

The ideal candidate will be trained as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and review all network extensions, identifying weaknesses in cyber security posture, outlining policy requirements, and providing recommended remediation guidance to the ISSOs of network extensions being audited to ensure the department's cyber and information security policies are being upheld. Support other programs, efforts as required by mission tempo.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:

  • BS & 9 years; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to assess the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) process to align with NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) security controls
  • Experience developing a custom GRC application that leverages Microsoft's PowerApps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and SharePoint platforms to streamline and automate an approval process and then provide day to day management of same.
  • Experience developing interactive graphical reports in PowerBI, which utilized live data from SharePoint and Dataverse, and providing briefings to the senior IT staff.

Required Clearance:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Active top secret clearance.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
