We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Denver, Colorado location. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational readiness and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and facilities. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all aspects of the warehouse environment meet safety and operational standards. This position is vital for supporting our logistics operations and ensuring a smooth workflow. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to safety are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the physical infrastructure of the warehouse.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment reliability for efficient operations.
- This role involves moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 40 lbs, and requires working with tools and machinery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and their maintenance requirements.
- Knowledge of safety standards and the importance of PPE in an industrial environment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to safety.
