Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, palletizers).
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting warehouse operations.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the work environment.
- Follow all established safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and order picking.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and operational disruptions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain operations is beneficial.
