Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. You will be instrumental in preparing orders for delivery, ensuring they are correctly assembled, packaged, and ready for transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate packing equipment such as tape dispensers and box cutters safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
