Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Boston, Massachusetts warehouse. This role is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring smooth logistics and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and implementing effective inventory control measures. A strong analytical aptitude is required to identify trends and proactively address potential issues. You will work closely with operations and logistics teams to uphold high standards of inventory management. Our commitment to safety is paramount; all employees must diligently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety regulations. This position requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies with high accuracy.
  • Maintain precise inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify and correct errors, and suggest process improvements.
  • Monitor stock rotation, identify slow-moving items, and report discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory-related audits and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize inventory processes and logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, including PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of performing some lifting tasks.
