Location: Rochester
Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum
What You’ll Be Doing:As a Hardware Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a talented electronics design team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading: Provide managerial and technical leadership to our electronics design team.
- Managing Work Packages: Oversee cost, schedule, risks, and opportunities.
- Supporting Production: Ensure the engineering team meets production program demands.
- Technical Governance: Uphold adherence to company processes and standards.
- Performance Trade-offs: Lead cost and performance evaluations.
- Control Account Management: Manage Control Account activities effectively.
Essential:
- Demonstrated high performance in leading engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle.
- Proven experience with cost and planning management tools, optimizing solutions, and minimizing dependencies.
- Expertise in identifying improvements in working practices and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction.
- Knowledge of supporting production programs effectively.
Desirable:
- Experience with PLD / FPGA design.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools, such as DOORS.
- Experience with work-package management tools, such as MSP or JIRA.
