Summary
We're currently building the operational engine that will allow our creative team to perform at its highest level - that's where you come in. We are seeking a Content Operations Sr. Manager to build and lead the operational, resourcing, and administrative infrastructure for our Content & Multimedia department. You will be the central hub that ensures operational health, clarity, and efficiency of the content team; that the right people, processes, and tools are in place to support exceptional creative output. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth creative environments and loves turning ambiguity into clarity.
This role supports our Creative team and is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring 2-3 days per week in office based out of one of the following locations:
Dallas, TX
Fort Wayne, IN
Detroit, MI
Philadelphia, PA
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Creative Resourcing & Talent Management
Own the resourcing function for design, video, motion, editorial, and production teams.
Manages allocation, capacity and utilization of internal and freelance creative talent across multiple projects and timelines.
Maintains clear reporting, accounting and action items for all stakeholders.
Maintains and grows healthy freelancer network and vendor relationships; manages onboarding, contracts, access, and rate negotiations.
Develop staffing models to forecast resource needs and collaborate with creative leads to ensure appropriate staffing for upcoming work.
Supports budget oversight for creative resources, ensuring allocation aligns with project scopes and cost expectations.
Operational Systems & Workflow Design
Review, update and build end-to-end workflows for RFP responses, project intake, scoping, brief development, reviews, approval, delivery and media management.
Standardizes processes and (templates, SOPs, checklists, guidelines) to improve operational consistency and quality.
Suggests recommendations for new operational tools and systems.
Supports project-specific operational tasks.
Identify bottlenecks and continuously optimize team operations and utilization.
Department Management & Administration
Lead weekly ops, resourcing, and production meetings.
Track project budgets, departmental spend, freelance costs and operational KPIs.
Serve as an operational touchpoint between all relevant in-house teams, supporting smooth cross-department communication and alignment on agendas.
Maintain team documentation, operational playbooks, and onboarding materials.
Monitors utilization, and associated budgets; identifies opportunities and implements strategies that streamline or optimize resourcing and operations.
Education & Experience
8-12+ years of experience in operations, project management or traffic/resourcing within a creative, content, production, or agency environment.
Proven experience overseeing resourcing for multidisciplinary, motion-first media design teams.
Strong background implementing processes, tools, and management frameworks for creative or content operations.
Familiarity with resource management, project tracking, and media production tools.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting staffing needs, and reporting on operational KPIs.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where agility is essential.
