Job Description
The Data Extraction Analystis responsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintainingefficient and reliable data extraction processes to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics needs. This role ensures that data is retrieved, transformed, and made available in a structured and accessible manner for decision-making. The Data Extraction Analyst collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to understand data needs,optimizedata workflows, and ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies. This position plays a key role in improving data quality, accessibility, and operational efficiency within theorganization.
Minimum Qualifications
Five(5)years of hands-on experience in data extraction, ETL/ELT development, and database management utilizing tools such as Dataflows Gen2, Data Pipelines, Azure Data Factory, ODI,GoldenGate, SQL Developer Data Modeler,Snowpipeor similar in managing extractions and transformations acrossOneLake, enabling unified orchestration of data from multiple cloud and on-prem systems.ABachelor's degree in computer science, data science, business intelligence or related field can substitute for one year of experience Advanced SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, Snowflake SQL)expertise, with hands-on experience tuning queries andoptimizingwarehouse performance across Microsoft Fabric, Oracle ADW, or Snowflake to achieve high-throughput, low-latency extractions and transformations. Hands-on experience in Python, PowerShell or Bash scripting to automate andoptimizeextraction workflows, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, andeliminatemanual processing. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively on large/complex system deploymentprojects in a team environment, including a strong understanding of distributed data architectures. Proven ability to projectmanageand deliver complex data integration and extraction projects end-to-end, aligning cross-platform technical work and providing clear status reporting to leadership. Preferred Qualification
Working toward certification inMicrosoft Fabric, Oracle Data Management,orSnowflake. Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation. Experience in higher education data environments. Understanding ofmachine learning models and how structured data supports advanced analytics. How to Apply
