Center for Hope & Healing
Midland Care Connection's Center for Hope & Healing provides compassionate grief and loss support for individuals, families, and children coping with the death of a loved one. The program offers individual and group counseling, family support, and specialized services such as children's grief groups, Healing Hearts Grief Camp, and seasonal programs like Surviving the Holidays. Many services are offered at no cost or on a sliding fee scale, with care provided by trained professionals in a supportive, healing environment.
Hospice Chaplain
A chaplain at Midland Care Connection's Center for Hope & Healing provides compassionate spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families grieving the loss of a loved one. The chaplain listens, offers presence and guidance, and supports people of all faiths or no faith through counseling, grief groups, and memorial or healing activities. They work as part of an interdisciplinary team to help clients find meaning, hope, and comfort while respecting each person's beliefs, values, and unique grieving process.

Monday - Friday | 8am-5pm

Qualifications
Required
- CPE or equivalent chaplaincy training
- Experience providing spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families experiencing grief
- Ability to offer inclusive, non-denominational spiritual care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team
Preferred
- Experience in hospice, bereavement, healthcare, or community-based settings
- Experience leading grief groups or memorial services
