Caregiver

Position Summary: 
As a Caregiver, you will deliver care and supervision to our residents, assisting with their needs to ensure comfort and safety. 

Responsibilities: 
• Provide care and supervision to residents. 
• Ensure resident safety and well-being. 
• Adhere to community policies and procedures. 
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. 
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment, performing general housekeeping tasks. 
• Be trained and ready to implement emergency protocols.

Physical Requirements: 
• Push residents in wheelchairs continuously. 
• Engage in continuous walking, bending, and movement. 
• Reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds. 

Qualifications: 
• Must be at least 18 years old. 
• High school diploma or GED. 
• Authorization to work in the U.S. 
• Strong English skills in reading, writing, and speaking. 
• First-Aid, CPR, and/or BLS certification. 
• Successful completion of Live Scan fingerprint clearance through FBI and DOJ. 
• Verification of a general physical exam and TB test. 
• Ability to pass a drug test. 
• At least 6 months of elder care or health care experience preferred. 
• Willingness to work varied hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
