Job Description Summary
Representing the communication and cooperation link between Viega North America and Viega DE. Responsible for working with cross-functional teams to support projects regards new machines, products and process adaption. This Role will support the application of implemented QMS documentation and execution. As part of the quality team, the Quality Project Engineer will be responsible for quality input and review of design specifications, supplier qualification, development test plan, risk management activities, design verification and validation review, machine acceptances and cross functional follow ups all over Viega as a unit. Focus is set on improving the standardization and education for interactions and article transition related items to smoothen that process and solving problems by collecting and providing data for Viega North America. A high adaptability and flexibility are highly required.

Job Description Details
Inspection and Analysis

  • Gathering, evaluating and transferring information to standardize transition processes.
  • Analytic thinking with highest commitment to support the communication and knowledge between Viega DE and Viega North America.
  • Measurable short term and long-term improvements and maintaining control of transition projects.
  • Perform and complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and testing of new and existing product lines according to established standards; determine need for appropriate verification and corrective action; prepare associated reports regarding results and findings.
