Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our 2nd Shift (3 PM – 11 PM, Monday–Friday) team. The Custodian will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility — including offices, restrooms, production areas, and common spaces — are maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. This position plays a key role in supporting our operational excellence and upholding company standards of cleanliness and safety in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and sanitization of offices, restrooms, break areas, and production spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, surfaces, and equipment as required.
• Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and scrap materials in designated areas.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables.
• Clean glass, windows, doors, and partitions for visibility and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in shop and common areas, ensuring safe, clutter-free walkways.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment and other janitorial machinery as needed.
• Perform routine inspections of restrooms and work areas throughout the shift.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, safety protocols, and company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to the Facilities Supervisor.
• Support special projects or facility events as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (bending, standing, walking).
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work the full 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM, Monday–Friday).
• Understanding of safety and PPE requirements in industrial environments preferred.
