Product Engineer II

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Product Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and testing new products, as well as enhancing existing ones. This role participates in all phases of the product lifecycle—from initial concept through final launch.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and production teams to generate ideas for new products and materials
• Use CAD software to develop and refine product designs and blueprints
• Build and test prototypes to identify design issues and safety risks
• Support manufacturing processes to ensure products are safe, functional, and cost-effective
• Partner with the product development team to bring concepts from design to market
• Review and analyze current products to identify improvements and prepare updated designs for approval

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field

Experience Requirements

• Four (4) years of relevant experience and/or training

• Strong analytical and design capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Computer Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
