Human Resources Generalist

Specialized Recruiting Group, Irvine is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a consumer products manufacturing company in the Irvine, CA area. Our client has a 25-year history of producing high quality health food products distributed in the US and across the globe. This is a full-time, contract opportunity. Base compensation starts at $40.00 to $50.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing
• Manage workers' compensation cases
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws
• Manage employee relations and performance management processes
• Support compensation and benefits planning
• General human resources-related tasks
• Data entry in HRIS system

Requirements

• Previous human resources leadership experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Excellent knowledge of payroll processing function
• Well-versed in California labor law
• Effective at building rapport and relationships across departments
• Skilled communicator
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
• Previous experience with HRIS systems
