Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisors handle many different areas of repair, such as plumbing, electricity, ventilation, air
conditioning, and other building systems. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for evaluating
problematic systems and determining what repairs need to be performed. Maintenance Supervisors are alsoinvolved with the hiring of workers, and assigning duties and responsibilities; the maintenance supervisor mayprovide training on equipment and procedures used in a building or complex. Maintenance supervisors are alsoresponsible for coordinating with building or complex management on supplies needed for the job, as well asmaintenance inventory. Supervisors may also be responsible for the evaluations and accident investigations, aswell as filing reports.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs.
  • Supervise all general building maintenance.
  • Supervise maintenance of landscaping and upkeep of grounds equipment.
  • Keep the building in a clean and orderly condition by examining the building on a regular basis for neededrepairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay rate: $25-$30 an hour.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • 5+ years of related experience to include Management and/or Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of State and local governmental, OSHA worksite, and general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations,etc.).
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
