Duties

• Prepare and assemble meals according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure variety and nutritional balance
• Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas
• Serve food to customers or residents with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain proper knife skills for efficient food prep and presentation
• Support catering events by preparing dishes and coordinating service
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards at all times
• Assist in kitchen organization, inventory management, and stock rotation
• Contribute to a positive dining experience through excellent customer service skills

Requirements

• Previous experience in dietary services, culinary arts, or related food industry roles is preferred
• Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
• Experience with fine dining, catering, or restaurant environments is a plus
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Prior experience with food service or kitchen operations is desirable but not mandatory
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
