Develop and deliver high-quality structural BIM models and construction documents Support a wide range of projects including: Manufacturing facilities Commercial buildings Institutional & public sector projects Modular and specialty structures Work in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment Contribute to sustainable and innovative structural design solutions Key Responsibilities Produce and coordinate structural models and construction drawings using BIM tools Implement and manage redlines and drawing revisions accurately and efficiently Identify and help resolve structural and constructability issues in project documents Collaborate closely with structural engineers and project teams to meet deadlines and budgets Lead and support BIM/drafting best practices and standards Mentor junior drafters/designers to strengthen: Structural drafting knowledge BIM workflows Understanding of construction methods Ensure deliverables meet quality, coordination, and documentation standards Promote a team culture focused on innovation, safety, and continuous improvement Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a structural engineering or related design environment Proven experience producing construction documents for structural projects Advanced proficiency in: Revit (structural modeling required) AutoCAD Ability to: Model complex structural systems Create and modify Revit families Troubleshoot BIM/modeling challenges Strong understanding of: Structural systems and load paths Construction methods (timber frame, stick-built, log, etc.) Structural materials and fasteners Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree or higher in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or related field Experience mentoring or leading other drafters/designers Familiarity with BIM standards development and enforcement What This Role Offers Opportunity to work on diverse, technically interesting structural projects A team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering environments A chance to grow into a technical leadership role within BIM/structural drafting
