Bartender/Event Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team and unique establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide recommendations to guests.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while preparing drinks and serving food items.
• Manage the bar area efficiently, including cleaning, restocking supplies, and organizing inventory.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using TOAST systems.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing timely service.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
• Collaborate with staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Assist in events as needed, ensuring high-quality service throughout the event.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the restaurant or nightclub industry is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs accurately.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and food handling. Basset Certification is required.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers positively and professionally as well as communicate with staff and management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
