About the Organization:

The organization develops technology that connects parents with pediatricians through two platforms: a parent-facing experience and a physician platform. Both platforms use Django and Hotwire. The mission is to provide affordable, near-instant clinic-level pediatric urgent care 24/7 by combining home exam kits, concierge access, and AI-enabled pediatricians, improving health outcomes and reducing medical costs.

Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain full-stack features across web and mobile platforms.


• Collaborate with product managers to implement new features.


• Work with cross-functional teams including physicians and marketing.


• Develop models and algorithms for medical image triage and risk flagging.


• Add developmental milestone screeners for early intervention.


• Integrate WebRTC to improve call reliability in the EMR system.


• Rewrite existing mobile apps to simplify the technology stack.


• Own projects from conception through production and maintenance.


• Proactively identify and fix bugs, document systems, and manage technical debt.

Requirements:


• Strong full-stack development experience, including HTML, SQL optimization, and deployment infrastructure.


• Experience with MVC frameworks such as Django or Ruby on Rails.


• Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions and validate assumptions with data.


• Preference for simple, maintainable solutions and pragmatic trade-offs between speed and scalability.


• Autonomy and proven ability to manage projects independently.


• Experience leading people and projects, with ownership of rollout and maintenance.


• Senior roles require more than four years of software engineering experience.


• Staff roles require a minimum of six years of experience.


• Demonstrated ability to solve challenging technical problems.

Compensation:


• Engineering salaries range from $145,000 to $200,000, based on location and experience.


• Equity is included in the compensation package.
