Duties

• Stock and replenish produce displays, ensuring products are fresh, appealing, and properly organized
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and update stock records
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and controlling shrinkage
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and transport produce safely within the warehouse or store
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce area, including packaging stations and storage zones
• Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about produce items, offering product recommendations, and assisting with special requests
• Collaborate with team members on merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance product visibility
• Perform heavy lifting when handling bulk produce or stock replenishments
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain organized storage areas for easy access

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with retail grocery environments preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stocking procedures
• Ability to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse tools safely
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of produce handling, packaging, and merchandising best practices is advantageous
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude to engage shoppers effectively
• Basic retail math skills for accurate inventory counting and sales transactions
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
