Tri State Distributors has an immediate opening for a dependable individual to fill a full-time Warehouse Relief Driver position at our Augusta, GA Branch. The ideal candidate should have experience in order picking, packing, loading, and accurately putting away merchandise. While the candidate will be cross-trained in other areas, their main responsibilities will include pulling orders, loading trucks, and receiving products. Additionally, they may assist with local deliveries when needed which may require overnight travels/stays.

• Candidates must have clean driving record
• Individual must be detail oriented for accuracy in filling orders.
• Tri State Distributors' equipment: 26,000 GVW Box Truck

Responsibilities Include:

• Regional deliveries with overnight stays
• Order picking from manual pick ticket with accuracy and speed
• Receiving product and putting it away accurately
• Maintaining orderly paperwork
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Operating material handling equipment safely
• Meeting company accuracy standards
• Working in a fast-paced, customer service driven environment
• Loading heavy materials onto trucks, lift and move up to 100 pounds, and drive a forklifted.

Job Requirements:

• High School or Equivalent Education.
• Clean driving record
• Commercial driving experience
• Ability to manage "touch freight," including loading and unloading materials.
• Positive Attitude.
• Strong Work Ethic.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds.
• Forklift Experience a plus.
• CDL License is a plus.
• Experience driving a 28' box truck desired.
