About
Our rapidly growing logistics hub in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to ensure the smooth intake of all incoming shipments. This vital role is the first step in our inventory management process, requiring precision and attention to detail. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing slips, and accurately logging all received items into our system. You will also be tasked with inspecting goods for any damages and reporting discrepancies promptly. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. A strong work ethic and the ability to follow established procedures are essential. This role requires physical activity, including frequent lifting of boxes and inventory. A commitment to safety is non-negotiable; all team members must adhere to strict safety protocols and consistently use provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are looking for individuals who understand the importance of accuracy in logistics and are eager to contribute to a highly efficient operation. Training will be provided on our specific WMS and safety procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Accepting, unloading, and verifying incoming freight.
- Matching received goods with purchase orders and packing lists.
- Thoroughly inspecting products for damage or defects.
- Accurately recording received inventory data.
- Communicating any receiving discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Maintaining an organized and tidy receiving area.
- Strictly following all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Properly using required PPE at all times.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
