We are hiring a Warehouse Worker in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California! Join our team and contribute to the efficient management of our warehouse operations. This role is fundamental to ensuring that our products are handled with care and that orders are processed accurately and promptly. As a Warehouse Worker, your day-to-day activities will involve receiving and inspecting incoming goods, accurately picking and packing items for shipment, and maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. We emphasize a culture of Safety and provide comprehensive training to all employees. This is a great opportunity to work in a key logistics hub on the West Coast.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify the contents of incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage and ensure accuracy against documentation.
- Store inventory in appropriate locations, maintaining organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments with correct labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and guidelines.
- Mandatory use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including regular Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with general Logistics concepts.
