Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with fine dining and food industry standards is preferred, but a strong desire to learn and grow within the hospitality sector is also valued. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations for incoming guests
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions effectively
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
• Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and restaurant policies

Skills

• Previous experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
• Experience in fine dining or upscale food service environments is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
• Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance
• Previous roles in hospitality such as host/host experience or serving in nightclubs or casual dining settings are advantageous
