Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager / Manager to support daily operations and help lead our team in delivering exceptional service and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service industry, with experience in both quick service and fine dining environments. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively support staff, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding food safety and brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring usage, and minimizing waste.
  • Train, develop, and supervise team members to deliver high-quality service and maintain operational standards.
  • Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives to help optimize profitability.
  • Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
  • Foster a positive and accountable work environment through strong leadership and communication.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding team members.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation, handling, and production in alignment with company expectations.
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth and timely service during peak periods.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Working knowledge of culinary operations, food preparation, and kitchen workflows.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team training and development.
  • Proficiency in cash handling, basic financial controls, and inventory management.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent guest service skills with a commitment to hospitality and service recovery.
  • Background in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55, $70,188.67 per year
