IVC is a fast-growing manufacturer specializing in custom retail displays and turnkey fabrication . As a key member of our Estimation Team, you will help shape projects from the very beginning—ensuring accuracy, clarity, and competitiveness in every quote we deliver.

What You’ll Do

  • Review architectural drawings, CAD files, and customer specifications
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom components, fixtures, and full retail display programs
  • Create material take-offs, labor breakdowns, and production strategies
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, purchasing, and production to clarify scope
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities that improve cost, efficiency, and manufacturability
  • Maintain up-to-date pricing information for materials, processes, and suppliers
  • Support handoff to production to ensure seamless project execution

What You Bring

Technical Skills

  • Experience in estimating for fabrication or manufacturing environments (multi-material experience an asset)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Understanding of fabrication processes, machining, assembly workflows, and production methods
  • Proficiency with Excel, ERP/estimating tools, and the ability to work with CAD-based files (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microvellum, etc.)
  • Strong math, costing, and analytical skills

Education / Experience

  • Technical diploma or engineering background (asset)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in estimating, fabrication, or manufacturing

Professional Skills

  • Strong communicator who collaborates well across teams
  • High attention to detail with excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented attitude
