Join our dynamic Wound care team as a Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care across diverse medical settings. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough wound assessments, including size, shape, and medical history reviews to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and internal medicine.
  • Administer injections, IV infusions, suturing, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and perform procedures like spinal taps or catheterizations with precision and sterile technique.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, telehealth consultations, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education on medication administration, nutrition, wound care, and health coaching tailored to individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice independently in your state.
  • Demonstrated experience in primary care or specialized fields such as emergency medicine, critical care (ICU/Level I & II trauma centers), hospital medicine or post-acute care settings.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner or similar platforms; telehealth experience is highly valued.
  • Strong clinical skills including patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, medication administration (including injections), suturing and specimen collection.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and utilization management processes.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (children/toddlers), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), hospice & palliative medicine or assisted living environments.
  • Critical care experience such as ICU or trauma center background; familiarity with ventilator management and airway management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively triage patients and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $95, $150,000.00 per year
